Laurie Zon, CPA (IL), is the principal of Laurie Zon Professional Corporation and widely acknowledged as one of the leading practitioners in her field.
Laurie has more than 30 years of experience specializing in all aspects of US and Canadian tax. She has worked directly with leading corporations in the financial services, immigration, and real estate sectors and is respected far and wide for her intimate knowledge in the specific field of Canadian and US tax policies, including common issues on both sides of the border. Additionally, Laurie has presented seminars on tax-related issues, such as mortgage interest deductibility, for groups such as the Toronto Home Builder’s Association. She’s also been a guest on Money Talks.
Laurie graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in Commerce in 1985. She received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1988 and completed the CICA in-depth tax course in 1991. In 1999, Laurie became a CPA in the state of Illinois.
